Mothers of Military Soldiers
Is gathering together each week on
Thursday's from - 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at
Plumas Crisis Intervention & Resource Center
591 W. Main Street in Quincy

MOM'S is a local group of mothers and families working together to support Plumas County military personnel during their time of service for our country. We offer each other courage, friendship and a safe place to share feelings during a difficult time.


Projects of MOM'S:
More Info Operation Plumas CARES will be collecting care packages to send to soldiers stationed abroad in the Persian Gulf.

Adopt a Local Soldier will provide service and community groups the opportunity to show their support.

Letters to the Desert will allow school children the forum to learn, participate and understand how important their pictures and letters can be to a soldier missing home.


Blue Star Service Flags and Unity pins are on order and will soon be available to families with loved ones serving in the military.

What can you do to support MOM'S in these efforts? Cash donations can be mailed to any Plumas Bank branch earmarked for MOM'S.

MOM’S will offer memberships to help support program costs such as postage, package supplies and web page support to post information on programs, events and contact information. For more info contact Cathy Rahmeyer at 530-283-5644
